Now that he's getting a chance, he's really running with it, no pun intended. A .365 OBP would put him 24th in the NL if he qualified, and he's fourth in the league in steals.

.340/.441/.400 in August, too. As soon as he learns to hit lefties, he's going to be bananas.
I believe that someday I will punch that arrogant foreman at the plant square on his fat nose; that I will get in the last word with my wife; that I will win the Irish sweepstakes; that the Mets will start a winning streak.

I hear he's too dumb to hit lefties
Let me tell you something: I have a big set of balls.

Also, following his Cubs "career" (2 innings), Joe Nathan has re-re-signed with the Giants meaning we might see him this weekend.
Every great cause begins as a movement, becomes a business, and eventually degenerates into a racket.

End-of-the-minors-season update!

Majors:
Koehler (Miami): 9-11, 3.97 in 29 starts. Hasn't won a game in a month.

Jankowski (San Diego): .243/.334/.313 in 344 PA. 4th in NL with 30 steals. Went .308/.374/.385 in August, playing every day.
Nathan (Giants): Three scoreless innings for the Cubs, then got cut, then signed with Giants. Blew the save the other night, but he's been pretty good, considering he's 41.

Minors:
Cantwell (AAA Texas): .262/.327/.306 in 202 PA. Ended season on the DL.
Zamora (A Pittsburgh): 3-2, 3.46 in 39 innings. 45 Ks. Ended season on the DL.
MacEachern (A Miami): 2-1, 3.79 in 38 innings across two levels.
Krause (A- Pittsburgh): .273/.400/.369 in 176 AB, coming back from TJS.
Honahan (R MFYs): 2-0, 2.48 in 29 innings. 0.97 WHIP.

There's a bright side to the dark clouds.
While those guys are on the DL, they'll have plenty of time to study for their GEDs.

(sorry, I've never made a Seawolf comment before. But after reading everyone else's comments over the years, that one just came to me. I usually reserve those kinds of comments, and worse, for athletes from THE Ohio State University.)

Later
I'm smarter than you think you are.

Tom Koehler to Toronto gives me reason to update.

Majors:
Tropeano (Angels): Will miss 2017 with TJS. Expects to pitch in a Fall League somewhere.

Minors:
Koehler (Toronto): Was awful in Miami, great in AAA... we'll see where the Jays start him.
Jankowski (AAA San Diego): Spending the rest of the month in AAA (.241/.353/.322 in 87 AB) recovering from a foot injury, then back in ten days when rosters expand.
Cantwell (AA Toronto): 5-34 with his two teams, now on the DL. Hasn't played since May 8.
Krause (A+ Pittsburgh): .281/.369/.461 with 9 HR in 256 AB. Has slowed down some.
Zamora (A+ Pittsburgh): 1.89 ERA and a 1.22 WHIP in 52 1/3 innings.
MacEachern (A Miami): 2-2, 4.15 in 21 2/3 innings out of the pen. Last pitched on 8/12, and his MILB page says "released," but I can't find any other news.
Honahan (R MFYs): 6.91 in 14 1/3 innings across three teams.

Indy:
Tissenbaum (Quebec, Can-Am): .359/.457/.590 with 12 HR in 273 AB, splitting time between catching and second base.
Campbell (Wichita, American Assoc): 3.19 ERA in 31 innings of relief.
Parenty (Schaumburg, Frontier): .276/.317/.302 in 192 AB.
I believe that someday I will punch that arrogant foreman at the plant square on his fat nose; that I will get in the last word with my wife; that I will win the Irish sweepstakes; that the Mets will start a winning streak.
