ty. I didn't know what to do with those two on top. The lady from Newark and the guy. I was gonna put it up and ask for suggestions, then I thought maybe, if I could find a good color pic of a 60s team, that might solve that. I found colorized nice quality pic of a 60s Mets team, and if I didn't that would have come out totally different. I would have tried to do something with those two characters I covered up.

This was done along with those other two posted. It didn't make the cut.

I found this image on Tumblr of three French soldiers from the WWI era and the guy in the middle eerily resembles a photoshop of Jeff Wilpon.

Is it any surprise that Jeff would start actually popping up in history?

That's the way these things work. (1) It's fun and games. (2) It gets bigger than you could have imagined. (3) It's out of control. (4) It defies all you know about time and space. (5) It's the most terrifying thing ever.

I know what I'm talking about. I've seen The Twilight Zone. It's the most unsurprising thing ever.

We're changing history, is what's happening. Time and space, fiction and reality are fighting it out on this thread like overweight tag team wrestlers. I put Jeff in a photo with Pancho Villa a while ago, eating tortilla chips or something. But that was pointless, because they had already met, in an alternate reality that is now our reality. Pancho Villa, Emiliano Zapata . . . and Jeff Wilpon, Mexico City, 1914.

Kind of looks like the inspiration for the Sergeant Pepper cover, doesn't it? I think James Joyce is there too, without his glasses.

It's like 20 people decided to photobomb the same picture at the same time.

Nicely done! Although it brings us uncomfortably close to seeing Jeff's genitals. If I wanted to see that, I'd sign up for Twitter!

How can you do the Teletubbies without including the baby in the sun?
In running, it doesn't matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say, "I have finished." There is a lot of satisfaction in that - Fred Lebow

She used the words "nepotism" and "Ponzi" one too many times in her column.

Where the fk did u get that Jeff face? Priceless! GJ. I saw the movie Creature From The Black Lagoon (again) a few weeks ago and its funny how the creature is scarier looking in still shots.

The perfect Jeffpression for the scene. Everyone's serious except the the two clowns. If you did that color matching you are now a photoshopper.

The creature isn't menacing him, he's spotting him. Jeff tends to black out if he does more than two revolutions before he hits the water.

The Jeff face is on the Getty Images site, originally from the Daily News. He's playing wiffleball on Family Day, and a five-year-old smacked a line drive right back at him when he wasn't expecting it. Thought he could sneak the changeup by him. Here's the link. http://www.gettyimages.com/detail/news- ... o/97288281

Thanks. I'm even a member there. Years ago I hit up the place for all their Met photos.

I don't know, I don't mind the new alternate caps. They look kind of like the seventies Giants caps, which I always liked.

It's time to have a more positive attitude around here. Look this way, Jeff.

Maybe this thread is a dead horse by now, but at least it can be a winged horse. Here's Jeff Wilpon, freshly oiled and mulleted, off to the ends of the earth to find the Mets another washed-up outfielder.
