Mets starting the game with Dominican Republic, followed by Japan, Venezuela, then U. S.

And there we go. 6-4 bad guys, and by bad bad guys, I don't mean the guys who are playing badly, because that's the good guys.

Good play by Lagares makes up for bad play by Zimmo on the same play. Mets!

Got those outs in the wrong order.
With only one out, TdA's fly ball might have brought home two!

I don't know, although it is a day ending in a Y and it has been nearly 24 hours since the last injury so, yeah, the odds are pretty good.

Except that his previous attempt at bunting didn't go well despite the open left side.

Yeah, but ...

Nimmo has a great eye, but doesn't seem to buy into protecting with two strikes.

When I saw the names of the starting pitchers, I remembered that as a kid I always wanted a Flexible Flyer.
Then, I snapped out of my reverie.
Sigh.
