Hopefully the Mets can keep this out of the toilet.

Smith in the cleanup spot. I hope he has many base runners to clean up.
I wonder if he took any BP swings against knuckleballing teammate Mickey Jannis when he was at Binghamton.

Good game so far, guyz! Mets up 5-0 through five, with the Braves managing only two knocks and Dickey out of the game. Cecchini 2-2 with two rbi.

You've gotta have wa, Mets!

The Braves appear to have a cocktail waitress sitting at the end of their dugout.

Also, Ender Inciarte has a potty mouth.

FOX, man.

Meanwhile, Kirk Suzuki takes a foul ball off the groin and Keith notes it with, "The Wicked witch is dead."

Smith doubles in two runs, and Gary calls it with "And Lucas drives one to right field!"

Well it's regional FOX, as in 'Fox Sports South' so she's a local hire rather than a national one.
Probably not a lot different than a lot of Tracii's or Kristee's on other team's regional channels. Of course many of them are local FOX outlets too.

The Braves get a cheap single richocheting off second, and the stupid tomahawk song starts.

I don't think he's even thrown recently.

There's rumbling that he's going to get an inning in the next few days, but I'm sure it'll be AJ.

But apparently AJ didn't bring too many strikes with him today.

It's this new pitch, AJ. It's called a "fastball."

In running, it doesn't matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say, "I have finished." There is a lot of satisfaction in that - Fred Lebow

Did anyone else notice Gary referring to Dom Smith as "Lucas" when he doubled in the seventh?
