You're impressed by this move until you realize San Diego was going to be release the guy because he couldn't win a job over Dale F. Thayer. That's bullpens I guess.

Best case I suppose is he becomes Dennis Cook to Carlos Torres's Turk Wendell. The Torres Twins.
