Does it have to be animate?

Can I be the elevated Subway platform at Shea?

Tommy Agee's HR marker?

I think it should be a living (or formerly living) organism, preferably a human mammal, who was associated with the Mets.

I misread that first bit and was going to propose the Shea Stadium Porn Room.

    soupcan 11,683

Vic Sage has chosen Tim Leary, so will not be subject to random assignment.

And since two people have been crossed out from the list above, two more will randomly be crossed off of the list from which the rankings will be drawn.

    Luis Aguayo
    Bob Goldsholl
    Art Howe
    Dave LaRoche
    Josh Lewin
    Kevin Long
    Wid Matthews
    Dal Maxvill
    Harold W. O'Shaughnessy
    J.P. Ricciardi
    Howie Rose
    Denny Sommers
    Tom Spencer
    Jeff Torborg

Harold W. O'Shaughnessy remains in play.

I'll be phantom Met Terrel Hansen, he of the two-day, zero-appearances stint in 1992.
I believe that someday I will punch that arrogant foreman at the plant square on his fat nose; that I will get in the last word with my wife; that I will win the Irish sweepstakes; that the Mets will start a winning streak.

    soupcan 11,683

Seawolf has chosen Terrell Hansen, so he'll no longer be subject to a random assignment.

The list of potential randomly assigned ranks has also been randomly reduced, with the elimination of Tom Spencer.

    Luis Aguayo
    Bob Goldsholl
    Art Howe
    Dave LaRoche
    Josh Lewin
    Kevin Long

    Howie Rose
    Denny Sommers
    Tom Spencer
    Jeff Torborg

On Tuesday, I'll spin the Wheel of Fate and see which of the remaining eleven people in the first list gets mapped to one of the eleven in the second list.

How exciting this is!

I've made today's random spin of the Wheel of Fate, and Ashie62 was selected from the first list, and Josh Lewin from the second list.

I'll spin the Wheel again next Tuesday!

Hey, if I can be a pain in the ass almost as quickly as Vail made his impression, can you please change his description to:

Owner, 23-Game Hitting Streak

Seems more dignified (for him, I mean).

About four months ago, I made a custom Mets baseball card of Jimmie Walker that included the phrase "Dyn-o-mite", spelled just like that. Don't ask 'cause I'm not giving out any more details other than that it was part of a larger (now completed) project that didn't include Mike Vail.

The "Choppy" thread has called my attention to this forum, which served to remind me that I'll be spinning the Wheel again tomorrow, assigning a random poster to a random ranking.

It's Tuesday, so the Wheel of Fate has received another spin. Today, batmagadanleadoff has been randomly assigned to J.P. Ricciardi.

If batmagadanleadoff is dissatisfied with this selection, he may choose another ranking.
