It came up in a thread today about meeting people irl outside
of this marsh-like hangout so I thought I'd look at the member
list and take a headcount.

I've knowingly met 32 33 people who post here. There's a bunch
of double and triple identities that of course I didn't count.

Maybe-one-day list on quick look (no one left off intentionally):

    Seo
    Grimm
    B'mags
    duan
    D'jesus
    Elster
    Lefty S
    metirish
    MgiM
    Oldmole
    T'monk
    Reality Chuck

I've met Seo, Grimm, Batmags, Metirish and theoldmole.

As much as I feel that I know MGIM, I don't think that we've actually met in person (have we?).

You've likely met all the people who I counted so you're in the

I've met JCL, Gwreck, El Segundo Escupidor and G-Fafif. I was invited to hang out with Seawolf17 at the end of September while he was in my neck of the woods, but I couldn't swing it. :(

I'm planning a trip to NYC to see a couple ballgames next summer. I'm hoping that even if it's not a main CPF gathering I can maybe cross a few more off the list while I'm in town.

We really should have an annual outing at a game, we've been at
all this a long time. We used to have a year-end meet up too. When
you have some dates float 'em here and maybe we can use them as
a starting point to plan something.

Looking at the list of users who've made more than 100 posts, I've met Edgy, JCL, Frayed Knot, Metfairy, Seawolf, Rockin' Doc, cooby, d'Kong, Sharpie (I think?), dgwphotography, Farmed Ted, Batty, jb, Bret Sabermetric, and Giant Squidlike Creature.
Mr. Met knows; he's seen some shit.

At a glance, looks like seventeen for me: Edge, Irish, JCL, Ceetar, MF, DDad, GFafif, Vic, Kase, Fman, marathon, CF, StevieJeets, DGW, WP, Segundo, smg.
I believe that someday I will punch that arrogant foreman at the plant square on his fat nose; that I will get in the last word with my wife; that I will win the Irish sweepstakes; that the Mets will start a winning streak.

Yes, Cooby - we've met.

Ironically, of all the people I've met, MGIM is one who I haven't, and he used to live in my hometown.

Adding Nymr to list, I'm sure there's still others.

I met about 5 or 6 of you at Shea a few years ago.
I remember Kase (he did the introductions), Steve Jeets and maybe Vic. It happened fast.

Later
I'm smarter than you think you are.

Funny, I associate you with the Stormville Flea Market. I don't
recall seeing you at good ol' Shea but as you said it was fast.

We met at Citi Field, upper deck for a Mets/Dodgers tilt in April when it was colder than hell. Fboy and I were there, him wearing a spiderman hat/mask.

I have also met Seawolf, Seo, GFafif, metfairy and Ddad, soupcan, SJR, LWFS, and SecondSpitter over the years.

I may have met Lefty S, but I'm not sure who he is entirely although
I have a pretty good hunch :-)...

As far as I know, I've only met one person on this board, a long time ago in a universe far, far, away. (And you're not that person, sorry).
