Wow. What's the 39-year gift material? I'm thinking maybe carbon.

Congratulations! I hope you have a happy anniversary and many more to come.
Just black and white, rich or poor
Them and us, stop the war
I'd love to change the world
But I don't know what to do
So I'll leave it up to you

After 15 years, the holes start appearing, plus it's kind of contemptuous of internation wildlife protection laws to go killing endangered elephants every time somebody is married 14 years.. I think we need to do a favor for Ms. MFS, as well all folks married beyond 15 years and fill in the blanks.

I nominate the 16th wedding anniversay as the Spandex Anniversary. You don't want to delay that any further than is necessary. I'm also going to put a word in for Acrylic.

Actally, I think you start adding them together. For example, for 39, you could go with two steels, a willow, a candy, and cotton.
I believe that someday I will punch that arrogant foreman at the plant square on his fat nose; that I will get in the last word with my wife; that I will win the Irish sweepstakes; that the Mets will start a winning streak.

Thank you to all of you who posted their best wishes.

Edgy, as I've posted a few times, she doesn't go by "Mrs MFS". She is, and always will be, MMYF (Mrs. Metsie, the Yankee Fan), which makes all those years together even more remarkable. :)

Every man in America is an authority on baseball. If you don’t believe that, just ask one.Regrettably, most of the knowledge they have was accumulated by about age 12.Much of it is correct;a lot of it is not.~Bill Shannon

Congrats, Cooby.
Just remember after next year, unlike with women's ages, you can't stop counting at 29.
